Alma Karash

Autobiography

Alma Karash is an economist, entrepreneur in the manufacturing and light industry sectors, and a public figure. She was born in Almaty Region. She has an education in economics, production technology, technical sciences, and law. She began her career in the office of the akim of Almalinsky District in Almaty, then held senior positions in second-tier banks of Kazakhstan. Since 2013, she has been developing her own business and is the founder of the manufacturing company ALMATEXTILE and the ADAL MEDPHARM medical center. Since 2022, she has headed the Almaty city and Almaty Region branch of the National Association of Light Industry Enterprises Qaz Textile Industry. Since 2025, she has been a member of the Regional Council of the Atameken Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty and the Council for Clean Production. Since 2025, she has been a member of the Kazakh Green Party Baytaq and chair of the party's Almaty city branch. She is actively involved in issues of green economy development, support for domestic production, environmental protection, and improving the quality of life of the population. In 2026, she was nominated as a candidate for deputy of the Kurultai from the Baytaq party.
