A cultural and environmental event was held in the village of Tegermen in the Uйғур District of Almaty Region with the support of the Baytaq Green Party. Villagers gathered for the meeting.
The event was also attended by Kurultai deputy candidate from the Green Party, Andrey Krasnokutsky. He presented the party’s election program to the villagers and, in an open dialogue format, discussed the region’s environmental and social issues with residents.
Participants raised issues of concern to them, including the preservation of mountain ecosystems, air quality, access to clean drinking water, and the development of infrastructure in remote settlements.
The meeting continued with a cultural program. Songs in Kazakh and Uyghur were performed on stage, and national dances were presented. According to the organizers, such meetings make it possible to communicate directly with residents and discuss pressing issues in rural development.
