A meeting with international observers from the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights was held at the West Kazakhstan regional branch of the green party Baytaq. Mission representatives Astrid Nunez and Vasily Khlebushkin familiarized themselves with the progress of the election campaign in the region.
The chairman of the West Kazakhstan regional branch of the party, Tursynbek Baitemirov, spoke about the progress of the campaign work, noting that the campaign covers all districts of the region and is being conducted in accordance with the law.
During the meeting, the party’s election program, issues of environmental safety, sustainable development, and environmental protection were discussed. The parties also noted the importance of international observation in ensuring the openness of the electoral process and increasing trust in the elections.
