Protecting Natural Heritage Is a Responsibility to Future Generations

The series of republican expert round tables, “Nature — National Heritage,” continues. This time, the meeting was held with the staff of the State National Nature Park “Kolsai Kolderi.”

The event became a platform for exchanging experience among specialists in nature conservation and discussing pressing environmental issues. Participants considered a wide range of topics, including biodiversity conservation, the development of specially protected natural areas, combating poaching, and protecting natural sites.

In addition, the parties discussed the practical experience of state inspectors, the importance of scientific monitoring and research, the development of ecological tourism, and raising the population’s environmental awareness. It was also noted separately that improving environmental legislation is important for achieving positive results.

The round table series is aimed at strengthening cooperation between government bodies, the scientific community, public organizations, and experts in nature conservation.

Participants noted that preserving nature is not only the task of individual organizations, but also the shared responsibility of society as a whole. After all, protecting natural heritage is a responsibility to future generations.
