The Green Party’s election campaign continues. The party’s candidate, Saule Kamytbekova, visited the village of Novokubanka in the Shortandy District of Akmola Region, where she met with local residents.

At the beginning of the meeting, the candidate presented the main directions of the election program of the Baytaq party. The conversation then shifted into an open dialogue, during which residents spoke about accumulated problems. Among them were road repairs, reliable access to drinking water and gas, a shortage of pastureland, unemployment, as well as the quality of mobile service and internet.

The district akim, Sabit Iskakov, also took part in the meeting. According to him, to bring young people back to the villages, conditions must be created for this. In particular, this means affordable housing, jobs, developed infrastructure, and opportunities for meaningful leisure. He believes that solving these issues will help reduce the outflow of young people to the cities.

The next venue for Saule Kamytbekova’s meeting was the branch of the Union of Disabled People and Veterans of the Afghan War in Astana. Here, participants raised issues of medical care, rehabilitation, and social protection.

The candidate noted that the Baytaq party’s election program pays special attention to supporting vulnerable groups of the population, developing inclusion, and improving their quality of life.

The chairman of the branch of the Union of Disabled People and Veterans of the Afghan War, Yerbolat Ashimov, raised the issue of granting a single status of “combat veteran” to all servicemen who took part in armed conflicts, including those who participated in guarding the Tajik-Afghan border.
