Kuanдык Temirkhanovich Nurtaev

Biography

Kuanдык Temirkhanovich Nurtaev was born on February 28, 1969. He graduated from Kazakh State University with a degree in Applied Mathematics, and from the Kazakh State Academy of Management with a degree in Finance and Credit; he also earned an MBA from KIMEP. He has also completed professional training in English. He has more than 30 years of experience in finance, banking, and corporate governance. He has held senior positions at the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alem Bank Kazakhstan, Eximbank Kazakhstan, Kazkommertsbank, JSC Exploration Production KazMunayGas, the United Chemical Company, JSC Kazgeology, and other major national and international organizations. He has significant experience in corporate finance, IPOs, investment projects, risk management, and international financing. Since February 2026, he has served as the Chief Treasurer of the Baytaq Green Party of Kazakhstan, responsible for the party's financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting. He is fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and English. He is married and has three children.
