The founding congress of the Baitak Green Party was held in Almaty on Saturday. Constituent documents and a program were adopted at the meeting, and the leadership of the party was elected. The congress was attended by students of a number of universities and cadets of the military-technical school of the city. In addition, there were delegates who raised environmental problems in the regions.

“Kazakhstan has really entered a new era. At this time, we are going to create a green party. Our party will be the backbone of the New and just Kazakhstan in the Second Republic. Of course, politics is a big deal. Health care, education, social issues should be addressed in a timely manner. Therefore, we are going to take part in the parliamentary and maslikhat elections next year. At least one million votes need to be collected,” said Azamatkhan Amirtai, who spoke at the meeting.

During the congress, Azamatkhan Amirtai was elected chairman of the Green Party.
