On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the closure of the nuclear test site in Semey, the Green Party of Kazakhstan “Baitak” will hold a round table on the topic “Green Energy – the Key to a Bright Future”. The event will be held on August 29, 2024 at 14:00 in the conference hall of the Almaty city branch of the party at the address: Almaty, Turgyt Ozal Street, 178.

The round table is aimed at discussing current issues related to the development of green energy in Kazakhstan, analyzing its role in ensuring a sustainable future for the country. The event will raise the topics of environmental safety and the construction of a nuclear power plant.

The round table will be attended by experts in the field of ecology and energy, representatives of non-governmental organizations, scientists, members of the Green Party “Baitak” and interested public figures.
