On November 30, 2023, the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change began its work in Dubai, UAE
Halving greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels by 2050 is a key issue. The organizers of COP-28 regard the UN global climate forum as an opportunity to rethink and reset the global climate agenda.
Thematic content is organized in accordance with the themes of the UNFCCC COP-28: decarbonization of the economy, development of a green financing system, carbon markets, biodiversity conservation, adaptation to climate change.
The Kazakhstan Green Party “Baytak” also takes part in the events. Materials in all areas will be included in the party plans and will be implemented in our work.
