Ulukbek Kapalbekov has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Almaty Regional Branch of Kazakhstan’s “Baytaq” Green Party.

Ulukbek Kapalbekov was born on April 21, 1980, in Almaty Region. He holds higher education degrees from Abai Almaty State University with a specialization in International Law, and from the Almaty Academy of Economics and Statistics with a degree in Economics and Finance.

He began his professional career in 2003 at the Department of Justice of Almaty City. Over the years, he has held responsible positions at the National Space Agency of Kazakhstan, the Kazakhstan–Russia Joint Venture “Baiterek,” the Almaty Department of Justice, and the Medeu District Justice Department.
He has also served as Akim (Head) of the Besagash Rural District, Deputy Director for Finance at “Global Energy Company” LLP, and Head of the Karasai and Talgar District Postal Centers of “Kazpost” JSC.

In his new role, Ulukbek Kapalbekov will oversee the development of environmental awareness in the region and lead initiatives promoting green economy and environmental protection.
