In Beijing, as part of the 2nd session of the “China–Central Asia” Political Parties Dialogue, the delegation of Kazakhstan’s Green Party “Baytaq” held a meeting with Mr. Iskhak Masaliev — Member of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan, and leader of the “Butun Kyrgyzstan” faction.
During the meeting, Mr. Masaliev highly praised the activities of the “Baytaq” Party and expressed his good wishes for its success:
“Protecting nature and developing the green economy is our shared duty to future generations. I am confident that the work of the ‘Baitaq’ Party will serve as an example for the entire region,” he said.
In response, Mr. Azamatkhan Amirtayev, Chairman of the “Baytaq” Green Party, emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in the fields of ecology, water resources, and green technologies:
“Our ecosystems are interconnected. The rational use of water and natural resources is the key to the sustainable development of the region,” Amirtayev noted.
Such meetings contribute to strengthening environmental partnerships and advancing “green diplomacy” among Central Asian countries.
Green development is the shared future of Central Asia.
