On October 17, 2025, Kazakhstan’s “Baitaq” Green Party held the National Women’s Congress under the theme “Women – the Foundation of a Clean Kazakhstan.”
This large-scale forum served as a unique socio-political platform combining themes of environmental sustainability, social justice, and women’s leadership. During the congress, participants discussed the active role of women in green politics, their regional initiatives, and their strategic importance in the nation’s ecological renewal.
The event program included several key components:
🔹 Opening ceremony and welcoming remarks. The forum was opened by the Party Chairperson and public figure, Azamathan Amirtayev, who highly praised women’s contributions to the country’s environmental and social development.
🔹 Election of the new Chairperson of the Women’s Council. The leadership team was renewed, and new programs and directions were defined.
🔹 Open-mic session “My Green Initiative.” Active women from across the regions presented their environmental, social, and cultural projects.
🔹 Panel discussion “The Working Woman – The Future of Kazakhstan.” Women from rural areas shared their experiences and views in the fields of education, culture, ecology, and social justice.
🔹 “Tree of Dreams” ceremony. Participants wrote heartfelt wishes for the country and future generations and hung them on the party’s symbolic tree.
This forum became a significant socio-political event aimed at enhancing the leadership potential of women in Kazakhstan’s green movement and promoting their role in environmental policy.
