The unregistered Baytak People’s Ecological Party will hold a regular meeting of its Organizing Committee on March 2 to register the party with the judiciary.

Ecological Alliance RKO «Baytak Bolashak», the Organizing Committee for registration of the party includes prominent statesmen and public figures. They are Olzhas Suleimenov, Irak Yelekeyev, Toktar Aubakirov, Azamatkhan Amirtai, Orak Aliyev, Viktor Sapulnik and leaders of non-governmental organizations and volunteer environmental movements.

Over the past 5 years, the initiative group and members of the Organizing Committee have applied to the judiciary 9 times to register the party. All requirements are met (including the collection of 20,000 signatures), etc. But so far we have been denied registration…
