Updating the leadership is a step toward strengthening the “Baitaq” Party and a confident course toward Parliament.
On 14.11.2025, the IV conference of the Astana city branch of the “Baitaq” Party was held in Astana. Socio-political leaders, representatives of civil society, and environmental activists took part in the conference. Among the guests were Irak Elekeev, Batyr Seykenov, Tanirbergen Berdongarov, and others.
Nariman Baubek was elected Chairman of the Astana Branch. The Political Council includes 15 active residents of the capital — representatives of various professional fields.
These personnel changes in one of the party’s key branches became an important step of internal reform and are aimed at strengthening the party’s position in society.
Fresh people – fresh perspective!
The party’s tasks in Astana are defined
With the new leadership of the Branch, the party will continue to fight for the residents of the capital to have access to a comfortable, safe, and environmentally clean environment through:
increasing accessibility of parks and green areas, cycling lanes and running paths, sports grounds, quality and natural food, safe courtyards and children’s spaces, clean air and clean water.
And with new faces, we hope to do this as efficiently as possible!
Our results are real actions, not promises
- The fight for the ecological park on the site of Taldykol
Four years ago, the “Zelenye Baytaq” Party proposed to build a modern ecological park on the site of Taldykol.
Today, this has become reality: the conceptual design of the park has been approved, the project has been agreed upon by the Astana Akimat and the authorized bodies, and construction of the ecological park is officially beginning. - Protection of the capital’s parks and green areas
Presentation of studies on the impact of urban greening on human psychology.
The party will continue to advocate for the protection of the city’s natural heritage and strive for the protection of several parks from development. - Environmental responsibility of enterprises
Big income — big responsibility!
Baitaq will continue to strive for all industrial enterprises operating in Kazakhstan to install modern filters that reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
Our demands: introduction of high-efficiency purification systems; strict control of emission levels; transparent compliance with environmental standards; priority — the health of residents and clean air in the capital. - Supporting the development of public transport
23 km of LRT is not an achievement, it is the beginning!
The “Baytaq” Party will continue to advocate for the development of modern, accessible, and environmentally friendly transport infrastructure. Baitaq stands for public transport!
In particular, we propose expanding the LRT line in Astana — from the current 23 to 350 kilometers, along all central roads, to connect all districts of the city and ensure sustainable mobility, reducing road congestion and improving the environmental situation in the city. - The Linear Park — our fight in the shadows
We continue our work within the framework of protecting parks and green areas, a vivid example of which is the Linear Park in Astana.
Future on the edge: for an open and green Kazakhstan
Key areas of work of the branch for 2025–2026:
development and monitoring of ecological parks and green spaces; creation of safe and convenient sports infrastructure; promotion of a healthy lifestyle through marathons and events; improvement of the waste management system; reduction of emissions and combating air pollution; protection of green zones and urban natural territories through monitoring and clean-up campaigns; participation in the development of fair tariff policies regarding enterprises.
We will fight against dense development. People are not bees or ants. We should not live in hives and anthills.
The “Zelenye Baytaq” Party will continue to work in the spirit of openness, digitalization, and direct dialogue with the residents of the capital.
